Thanks for joining me! If you love baseball, basketball, and football, you’ve come to the right place. I have covered the world of sports since 1978 and have written more than 30 books about those three sports. Many of the titles are available on sites such as Barnes and Noble and Amazon, but if you can’t find a specific title, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll try to locate and sell you that book.

BELOW IS A SHOT OF THE COVER OF MY BOOK WHICH CAME OUT IN MID-AUGUST OF 2018. FOR MORE INFO ON IT AND THE OTHER BOOK SHOWN FURTHER DOWN, GO TO AN OLD BLOG ENTITLED “LATEST BOOKS NOW OUT AND A NEW QUIZ”
I’M PROUD THAT RAYMOND BERRY, MIKE DITKA, AND TOM MATTE ALL WROTE WORDS OF PRAISE ABOUT THIS BOOK FOR ITS JACKET. THOSE THREE AND MANY OTHERS, INCLUDING A LOT OF HALL OF FAMERS, SUPPLIED THE BOOK WITH GREAT STORIES AND INFO THROUGH EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS REALLY MAKE THE 1950s AND 1960s ERA COME ALIVE.
Below is the cover of my book which, like the book shown above, now be purchased. You can locate it at http://www.kentstateuniversitypress.com/2017/americas-football-factory-2nd-edition/ (just type in Kent State University Press and you’ll find it) or, like all of the books I’ve written, go to Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
America’s Football Factory: Western Pennsylvania’s Cradle of Quarterbacks points out that almost 25% of the modern era Hall of Fame quarterbacks are from a relatively small area around Pittsburgh. Each quarterback has his own chapter in this book which also delves into why such a phenomena exists. The six greats are John Unitas, Joe Namath, George Blanda, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and Jim Kelly.
Exclusive interviews from teammates, coaches, and relatives of these superstars make this book a must-read. Hall of Famer Mike Ditka supplied the forward and Raymond Berry praised the book. It also features many other greats from the area such as Terry Hanratty, Marc Bulger, Johnny Lujack, and Babe Parilli.
